Ways to Worship at Home

Sunday worship is now live-streamed at 10:00am on Sundays with Pastor Jeanette. Sign up for our email newsletter to connect to our virtual live worship services. You can also visit our worship archives with Pastor Jeanette here and Pastor Milton for previously recorded services.

Give:
Offerings can be mailed to 228 Main St, Durham CT 06422 or TEXT the word GIVE to 860-631-4572 to make a secure offering on-line using the Tithley App. Our ministry depends on generosity in these difficult days. We give thanks for your support which spreads Christ's love and light. Your gift is love made visible. You can also click on the GIVE link here.

Pray:
Email your prayer requests or call the pastor. We remain a praying people. Let the pastor know if you are ill, have a need, or have joy to share. We have church members wanting to help and waiting to share your joys.

Connect:
We have a phone tree, one of the church's most ancient forms of staying connected. Phone tree leaders are being given a small group of church members to call and stay connected with throughout this time of social distancing. Don't be surprised if you hear from a church member. Feel free to reach out to others! The more the merrier certainly applies here. We are your church. We love you. You are not alone!

Become Friends:
You can like our church Facebook Page to have even more connection with our church and its members. Find your friends and church family on Facebook or Instagram and link up. This is the age of connecting over our screens and phones. Embrace it.

Other Wonderful Resources:
There are so many incredible resources already out there and many more being developed to help support worship and faith development in these days of isolation.
  • Use the Pray As You Go App.
  • Make a Sacred Space in your home. Pastor Jeanette calls these her little altars everywhere.
  • Try Ignatian Spirituality and practice The Daily Examen.
  • Pray Lord It is Night as often as you need to.
  • Color Mandalas and pray while you do.
  • Try a few sermons from House for All Sinners and Saints, a progressive Lutheran church in Denver, CO.
